Amandla means power. The Amandla Learning Management System (LMS)provides easy and cost-effective access to learning content for ALL who wish to improve their vocational skills. Improving one's skills has a number of benefits:- It improves the chances of success in business, of employment, of promotion or of securing a more fulfilling job. Amandla LMSspecifically targets SMEs and unemployed youth, although all learners are welcome to use the system.
A learner may register for any course on the LMS, however there are limited
“seats” for each course, so the learner MUST complete the course within the stipulated time, although adequate time is allowed for completion of a course. At the end
of each section of a course, there are multiple choice questions or an assignment to test understanding of the content. Learners MUST complete these assessments in
order to proceed to the next section or to receive a COMPLETION CERTIFICATE. Once
a learner has successfully completed the course, s/he will receive a notification of completion
and will be issued with a SAMPLE Completion Certificate.
Should the learner wish to receive a proper Course Completion Certificate, s/he may request one. For some courses, there is a fee for the Certificate. The fee for each
Certificate is indicated in each Course. A learner is not obligated to purchase a Certificate however, s/he is encouraged to do so to add the certificate to his/her CV or business profile.
Inside theLMS, there is also useful information on career choices, how to write a professional CV, how to prepare for an interview, etc.
